Thanks for your interest in participating in STEM Saturday!

STEM Saturday is an event where you can lead breakout rooms and perform experiments with the kids! Every 3rd Saturday of the month, a new "theme"- revolving around science, of course- is put out.

Typically, the kids have the materials and follow along with your guidance. The event is from 10:45am to 12:15pm. You are REQUIRED to be present for the entire duration of the event in order to be awarded a point. You can also receive a point for wearing an AED shirt, and the final point for posting a picture of the flyer (found on our IG) or of yourself during the event! PHOTOS WITH THE CHILDREN'S FACES ARE PROHIBITED.

Again, the number of total points that can be awarded for this event is THREE
- Attending
- Wearing an AED Shirt
- Reposting the Flyer/Posting a Picture of Yourself at the Event and Tagging @AEDFIU

Once you RSVP, you will be sent an email with the lesson plans, required materials, and zoom link. All necessary information will be sent to you no later than THREE days before the event.

It is imperative that you collaborate, participate, and engage with the children as well as the medical students throughout the event. Be sure to log on ON TIME and have the lesson plans read before Saturday, March 13th.
