Help us pack Food boxes - Home Delivery Food box packing volunteers needed!

Open Opportunity

About

Help ensure food security for your neighbors by volunteering with North Helpline Emergency Services and Food Bank!

Our mission is to help our entire community obtain their basic necessities. We need volunteers to help us pack boxes for people who are unable to make it into our regular distribution. These boxes will be packed according to dietary restrictions and then be delivered by volunteers later in the day.

You can expect to work with eight to nine other volunteers as we sift through items. This opportunity will require standing for duration of the shift as well as bending and lifting boxes up to 20 lbs.

Home Delivery happens twice a week:

  • Tuesday:  9:30 am to 1:30 pm
  • Thursday: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
To sign up, complete our volunteer application form here: (https://bit.ly/2Vvyh0U). Once completed, you will be sent the links to our online signup calendar where you can view and register for open spots at our locations.

For further inquiries or clarifications, email us at volunteers@northhelpline.org or message us at 206-413-8271.
