What is Service-Learning?

Service-learning is an academically rigorous form of experiential education in which students engage in activities that address human and community needs, together with structured opportunities for reflection designed to achieve and assess desired learning outcomes. Our Mission

At the Center for Service-Learning, our commitment to engaging students in challenging academic work and the promotion of the common good as understood in our Catholic, Benedictine tradition motivates us to facilitate the implementation of service-learning for the faculty, students, and community partners of Benedictine College.
