Communities in Schools of the Nation's Capital

Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Communities in Schools of the Nations Capital (CISNCAP), the District affiliate of the nations leading dropout prevention organization, partners with eleven DC Public Schools to support students attendance, basic needs and coursework completion. School-based CISNCAP staff provides targeted social service interventions, and also facilitates relationships between the school and community partners.
